Glimpses of a fine morning..

Its the first weekend after our return from month long holiday in India. Days are hot and nights still chilly in Townsville now. We had a good Kerala breakfast, Puttu and Kadala alongwith watching parts of a malayalam movie. Its 11.30 am. Saju, my wife is siting beside me and reading her daily lessons in preparation for her exams. A concert CD of Chembai Vaidyanathabhagavathar is playing in our drawing room. A young couple, who are visitng us,  sleeps in our guest room. Two pumkins are ready for harvest in our garden.

That seems to make a perfect home.

Tried to read some news in "The Hindu". Demotivating !!! In the first page it says "Wife and her paramour arrested for murdering her husband". The third page says "Newly married man kills wife, commits suicide" and "man shot-dead under mysterious circumstances" all from Delhi.  Either newspapers should try to avoid such news in the front pages, or I should try avoiding such news..

SHould try out some new activity today.. Some grocery shopping, an evening walk (with Sanjamma of course !!!) along the Ross-river etc are in the list. ROss-river sounds familiar? Ross-river fever had an outbreak in Kerala early this year. Yes ! this is the same Ross river. Its here in Townsville..

Chembai has started with Vathapi all over again. I should go now !!!
